Description
HASTELLOY® C-2000® filler metal is used for C-2000® alloy gas metal, gas tungsten arc, and submerged welding. The deposited weld metal offers high consistent corrosion resistance in a wide range of media, including oxidizing and reducing situations. The alloy is an excellent choice for dissimilar joining with other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys and stainless steels containing molybdenum.
Hastelloy C-2000 is a versatile alloy that is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, particularly sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and other strong acidic conditions. It is highly resistant to both oxidizing and reducing conditions. It can withstand localized rusting.
Hastelloy ERNiCrMo-17 Filler Wires have exceptional resistance to oxidizing environments such as nitric acid and solutions such as ferric ions, cupric ions, and dissolved oxygen due to its high chromium concentration. Hastelloy ERNiCrMo-17 Filler Wires are used for various applications like Chemical Process Industry Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Pharmaceutical Industry Reactors, Dryers, and Flue Gas Desulfurization Systems.
