Description

HASTELLOY® C-22® RTW™ filler metal is utilized in gas metal and gas tungsten arc welding of HASTELLOY® C-22® alloy. The deposited weld metal exhibits minimal thermal expansion, strong oxidation resistance to 1500°F (815°C), and great fabricability. The alloy is utilized in gas turbine seal rings, containment structures, and high-strength fasteners.

The nominal composition (weight-percentage) of ERNiCrMo-10 Filler Wire is 56 Ni, 22 Cr, 13 Mo, 4 Fe, and 3 W. This filler metal is used for welding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy (ASTM B 574, B 575, B 619, B 622, and B 628 having UNS Number N06022) to itself, steel, and other nickel-based alloys, as well as cladding steel with nickel-chromium-molybdenum weld metal utilizing the GTAW, GMAW, and PAW processes. This ERNiCrMo-10 Filler wire is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. ERNiCrMo-10 is intended for use in a wide variety of industrial welding applications, including petroleum, chemical, and power production plants, as well as offshore and marine facilities.

ERNiCrMo-10 Welding Wire is frequently used for cladding due to its strong corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing conditions, as well as its superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.

Hastelloy C22 Filler Wire prevents the development of grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it appropriate for most chemical process applications in the as-welded state.
