HASTELLOY® C-22HS® is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids and which can be heat treated to obtain very high strength. C-22HS alloy offers significantly better corrosion resistance when annealed, especially against localized corrosive assault. Because of its localized attack resistance, the alloy is also a good choice for a general-purpose filler metal or weld overlay. HASTELLOY® C-22HS® alloy (N07022) is the leading nickel-chromium-molybdenum corrosion-resistant material used in the oil and gas sector. Cold treating the alloy at values ranging from 30 to 65 percent produces high room temperature yield strengths. It is NACE/ISO certified and has remarkable resilience to sour gas conditions.

In addition to its high uniform corrosion resistance in oxidizing as well as reducing environments, the as-heat treated Hastelloy C-22HS Filler Wire possesses high resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion attack. HASTELLOY C-22HS Filler Wire exhibits excellent ductility and impact strength after long-term thermal exposure at elevated temperatures. C-22HS Filler Wire has excellent forming characteristics, and cold forming is the preferred method of shaping. Hastelloy C-22HS Filler Wire can be easily cold worked due to its good ductility.
