Hastelloy® Hybrid-BC1®Filler Wire is substantially more resistant to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids than nickel-chromium-molybdenum (C type) alloys and can withstand the presence of oxidizing species. In addition, the alloy is particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Hastelloy Hybrid-BC1® Welding Wire is appropriate for the following applications in the Chemical Processing, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Food, Petrochemical, and Power Industries: Reaction Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks. Hastelloy Hybrid-BC1® Welding Wires can withstand temperatures of up to 427 degrees Celsius (800 degrees F). Hybrid-BC1 alloy performs well in reducing acids and acid mixes (with or without halides) exposed to oxygen and other oxidizing residuals/contaminants.

Cold forming is the primary method of shaping the HYBRID-BC1 Alloy Wires because of its superior forming capabilities. Due to its high ductility, the alloy is readily cold worked; nonetheless, the alloy is stronger than austenitic stainless steels and so takes more energy during cold forming. We also conduct various tests on our products to ensure they are error-free and suitable for use in various climatic conditions. These tests include mechanical testing like welding tensile strength and yield strength, Chemical Composition, raw material test, third-party inspections, etc.
