Description
HAYNES® 214® RTW filler metal is used for Haynes® 214® alloy gas metal arc and gas tungsten arc welding. The deposited weld metal has high oxidation resistance to 2300 Degree F, as well as excellent resistance to carburization and chlorine-bearing conditions. The RTW coating on the spooled wire improves smooth feeding through welding equipment while also reducing tip wear in contact tips.
The properties of HAYNES 214 alloy combine to make it appropriate for use in generally low-stress, high-temperature oxidizing circumstances requiring the greatest resistance to oxidation or scale exfoliation. Its resistance to such settings lasts up to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit, albeit some strength limitations may exist.
