Description
BRAND : HW-NiCrMo-3
SOLID NICKEL BASE ALLOY WIRE FOR TIG WELDING (A Versatile Alloy)
AWS A 5.14 ER NiCrMo-3
Materials to be welded:
- a) Inconel 625, Incoloy 800, Incoloy 801,
- b) High Mo austenitic stainless steels, such as Avesta 254 SMO,
- c) Dissimilar joints between
Applications:
Weld metal of this class is characterized by a high level of tensile strength (> 720 MPa), combined with toughness, & corrosion resistance and heat resistance. These properties render it suitable for-
- a) nickel alloys in furnace parts,
- b) 6% Mo super austenitic stainless steel,
- c) Cladding & overlaying pumps, valves, in different marine environments.
Available in (1) 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 3.2 mm dia in 1000 mm length
Special Property: Iron content is controlled below 1% to take care of dilution effect in cladding. Chemical Analysis of Wire (%):
