Description
(Nickel-base alloy electrode)
CHARACTERISTICS
AWS A5.11 ENiCrMo-3
DIN 1736:EL-NiCr20Mo9Nb
⚫ Standardised with coating of special basic flux system.
- Non-synthetic Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb electrode for welding of NiCrMo alloys and superaustenitic stainless steels.
Welds of radiographic quality
⚫ Pleasing behaviour in terms of smooth arc, low spatter and easy de-slagging.
APPLICATIONS
Highly versatile, nickel-base alloy electrode suitable for a wide range of applications:
- Cryogenic vessels & pipework of 9% Ni steel (Q & T grade) for temperatures down to minus 196°C.
⚫ Elevated temperature services in furnace equipment & petrochemical plants & power generation plants, involving temperatures above 900°C.
Joining & surfacing in fabrication
Repair & maintenance welding, especially in reclamation of dies.
Base materials: Inconel 625, Inconel 601, Incoloy 800H, 825, & similar. CHEMICAL
