Description
BRAND :ULTIMATE-80(EXTRA)
Low Hydrogen Electrode for Vertical Down Welding of Pipes.
SFA5.5-2007 AWS E 8045-P2
Identification: Name Printed |
A unique electrode developed to meet the special requirements in welding high strength steel pipelines for higher level of productivity.
- Low hydrogen level (< 5 ml per 100 g) in weld metal;
- Weld metal which possess a combination of higher strength, good ductility and excellent impact strength at subzero temperatures down to -50°C.
- Suitable for welding with vertical downward progression for fill & cap passes in butt joints of high strength steel pipes of grades up to & including API 5L-X70. 4. Welder friendly operating characteristics to permit welding in vertical top to bottom position, with ease of control on weld pool & slag fluidity
